DR AKHILA KOSURU

Dr. Akhila Kosuru is an expert in the field of Healthcare Quality Management, Capacity Building, Compliance Management, Research & Publications and Clinical Content Development.

She started her career as a medical practitioner in the year of 2011 and had worked across various clinical specialities for more than 4 years before shifting up a gear in her career into managerial roles in the then nascent field of Telehealth. Backed by the clinical expertise she gained over the years of practice, she had picked up the responsibility of building and managing healthcare quality management systems for Apollo Telehealth’s various Service Delivery models along with the responsibility of leading the Capacity Building, Content Development and Research & Publication teams of Apollo Telehealth.

With her innate ability to focus on building positive customer impact, she played a key role in the effective implementation of Quality enabled Services across various telehealth Projects which majorly include the Public Private Partnership establishments with Governments of various states. These Projects range from establishment of Remote Teleclinics to Direct to Consumer Telehealth services. Through various Innovations she has enabled economically viable capacity building methods for upskilling Doctors, Paraclinical Staff, Non-Clinical staff members and was able to successfully establish the viability of Continuous Remote Learning.

She has also Authored and Co-Authored multiple research publications on healthcare service delivery models, Socioeconomic implications of Telemedicine, peculiar case studies handled through Telemedicine. She has gained expertise on the subject and led the team for implementation of various ISO Certifications including ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems, ISO 27001 – Information Security Management Systems and ISO:13131- Telehealth Management Systems and Health Informatics.
